Summary: | Process for obtaining 1,3-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)- propan-2-one Comprises reacting a ketal of a 1,3-dihaloacetone of general formula III with an alkaline salt of 1H-1,2,4- triazole in the presence of an organic solvent and a suitable catalyst at a temperature of between 80 degree C and 200 degree C in order to obtain a compound of general formula II which is isolated as the hydrochloride and which is subjected to hydrolysis of the ketal group in concentrated mineral acid medium. The product obtained is 1,3-bis(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-propan-2-one, which is applied as an intermediate product in the synthesis of triazole antifungal agents.

CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN CETAL DE UNA 1,3-DIHALOACETONA DE FORMULA GENERAL III CON UNA SAL ALCALINA DEL 1H-1,2,4-TRIAZOL EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO Y UN CATALIZADOR ADECUADOS Y A UNA TEMPERATURA DE ENTRE 80GC Y 200GC, PARA OBTENER UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA GENERAL II, QUE SE AISLA COMO CLORHIDRATO Y SE SOMETE A CONDICIONES DE HIDROLISIS DEL GRUPO CETAL EN MEDIO ACIDO MINERAL CONCENTRADO. EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO ES LA 1,3-BIS(1H-1,2,4-TRIAZOL-1-IL)-PROPAN-2-ONA, QUE SE APLICA COMO PRODUCTO INTERMEDIO PARA LA SINTESIS DE AGENTES ANTIFUNGICOS TRIAZOLICOS. |
