Methods include preparing an alkaline treated zeolite, passivating by phosphatation, and combining with alumina and silica slurry to result in a spray dryable catalyst precursor. The spray dried modified zeolite catalyst can be used in a fluid catalytic cracking unit to convert light hydrocarbon feedstocks to ethylene and propylene enriched product streams. |
