Summary: | The invention relates to an eccentric screw pump, comprising a rotor, which forms a conveying screw, and a stator, which forms a screw flight and in which the rotor rotates during conveying operation, wherein: the stator comprises a stator housing, in which a stator lining is disposed, the stator lining reproducing the screw flight; the stator lining is a sleeve which is supported, at its outer periphery, on the stator housing by means of a support structure which forms cavities; the support structure is designed and dimensioned, in accordance with the location of its connection to the sleeve, in such a way that the supporting effect provided by the support structure is matched to the local needs of the sleeve. |
