Summary:The present invention relates to a membrane (3412) for a vent structure (3410) of a respiratory therapy system, the vent structure (3410) configured in use to convey a vent flow of gases exhaled by a patient from an interior volume of the respiratory therapy system to surrounding ambient air, the membrane (3412) comprising a central aperture (3415) defined by an inner perimeter of the membrane (3412), through which the vent flow of gases is conveyable, wherein the membrane (3412) is positionable within a vent housing (3411); wherein the membrane (3412) comprises one or more flexible protrusions (3419) extending from the inner perimeter of the membrane (3412) towards the centre of the central aperture (3415).
