Summary: | The invention relates to a method for producing an environmental barrier coating (12) electrophoretically on a ceramic matrix composite part (10), the method comprising the following steps: - E10: electrophoretic application to the surface (S) of the part (10) of a liquid suspension of a composition comprising at least one rare earth silicate powder and conductive fillers; - E20: drying of the suspension applied; and - E30: sintering heat treatment of the rare earth silicate powder, characterized in that use is made, as conductive fillers, of at least one nitrate selected from the group consisting of aluminium, yttrium and ytterbium nitrates in an amount of between 0.2 and 1 millimole per litre of liquid suspension. |
