Summary: | This application discloses a binder and a preparation method thereof, a separator, an electrode plate, an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric apparatus, and relates to the field of battery technologies. The binder includes a polyacrylate copolymer and a lithium-containing compound. As the binder includes a polyacrylate copolymer and a lithium-containing compound, the polymer possesses excellent anti-swelling ability. This also facilitates a good bonding effect, enhances ionic conductivity, and helps control the molecular weight and glass transition temperature of the polymer, and thus improves the bonding performance of the binder. The binder further including a lithium-containing compound, allows the binder to serve as both a binder and a lithium replenisher. This eliminates the need for a separate lithium metal layer or lithium replenishment layer in lithium-ion batteries, improving kinetic performance of the lithium-ion battery, reducing electrochemical impedance, and thus enhancing both the cycling performance and rate performance of the lithium-ion battery. |
