Summary:The present invention provides an acidic gas adsorbent suitable for adsorption and desorption of acidic gas under a relatively mild condition. The acidic gas adsorbent of the present invention includes a polymer P having an amino group. A density of nitrogen element in the acidic gas adsorbent is higher than 12.0 mmol/g. With respect to the acidic gas adsorbent, when an adsorption test A1 is performed, an adsorption amount a1 of carbon dioxide is 0.35 mmol/g or more. When a desorption test B1 is performed, a desorption amount b1 of carbon dioxide is 0.2 mmol/g or more.
