Summary:As a material which is to be blended into a cosmetic composition that has UV-B blocking ability, while having high transparency without taking on a blue tinge, the present invention provides a powder which is to be blended into a cosmetic composition and is composed of a calcium titanium composite oxide, while having an average particle diameter of 25 nm to 110 nm. It is preferable that this powder is blended into a cosmetic composition in such an amount that the content of the calcium titanium composite oxide in the cosmetic composition is 300 g/kg or less.
