Summary:A connection assembly for providing an electrical connection to a plurality of conveyor modules in a conveying system, the connection assembly comprising: a first housing part and a second housing part arranged to at least partially house a plurality of electrical components; and a plurality of apertures provided on the first housing part, wherein each aperture is associated with at least one of the plurality of electrical components, wherein the first and second housing parts each have an elongate configuration; wherein each aperture is configured to receive a part of a conveyor module to facilitate electrical connection of each of the plurality of conveyor modules to at least one of the plurality of electrical components; and wherein the plurality of apertures are spaced apart such that each of the received conveyor modules are arranged in a row.
