The invention relates to a device (10) for producing containers from preforms made of thermoplastic material, wherein the device (10) has at least one transport device (24, 26) with at least one transfer unit (28) for moving containers and/or preforms between a first transfer position and a second transfer position, wherein the transfer unit (28) comprises a gripper element (36) for holding a container and/or preform, characterized in that the transfer unit (28) has a transfer arm (30), to which the gripper element (36) is connected and which is movably mounted in a contactless manner at the at least one transfer unit (28). The invention provides a device (10) for producing containers from preforms made of thermoplastic material, which is more cost-effective and meets increased hygiene requirements.
