Summary:The present disclosure relates to a battery cell, a battery and an electric-powered device, and the battery cell includes: an electrode assembly; a shell adapted for receiving the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly adapted for closing an opening of the shell, wherein the shell includes a first wall and two second walls opposite each other, the first wall is adapted to connect the two second walls, the first wall has a wall thickness greater than that of the second wall, the first wall is provided with a pressure relief mechanism, and the pressure relief mechanism is adapted to be activated so as to release the pressure when a gas pressure inside the shell reaches a threshold. The battery cell of the present application can satisfy the requirements on the release of gas inside the battery cell, and meanwhile can ensure the safety performance of the battery cell.
