Summary:The present invention relates to a container for storing and transporting a dielectric insulation medium, the container comprising:a container interior, in which the dielectric insulation medium is contained, andconnecting means for connecting the container to an electrical apparatus of medium or high voltage and filling a housing of the electrical apparatus with the dielectric insulation medium,said dielectric insulation medium being a mixture ofA) an organofluorine compound or a mixture of organofluorine compounds as component A, the molar percentage of component A in the dielectric insulation medium being in a range from 1 to 15 mol%, andB) a carrier gas compound or a mixture of carrier gas compounds other than an organofluorine compound as component B.According to the invention, the component B comprises nitrogen, the molar percentage of nitrogen in the dielectric insulation medium being at least 65 mol%.
