Abstract Systems and methods are described for ion chromatography systems and electrolytic suppressors. This leads to more accurate results in e.g., a conductivity detector downstream of an electrolytic suppressor within an ion chromatography system. In certain embodiments, it has been found that frequencies of around 700-750 Hz, 100-150 Hz and 925-975 Hz have achieved the best results.
