Summary:The invention relates to a method for operating a motorised flap arrangement (1) of a motor vehicle (2), wherein a control arrangement (3) for actuating a motorised drive assembly (4) assigned to the flap arrangement (1) and a radar sensor (6) coupled to the control arrangement (3) are provided, wherein, by means of the radar sensor (6), sensor values relating to an operator action of an operator (B) located outside the motor vehicle (2) are acquired. The acquired sensor values are checked by means of the control arrangement (3) for compliance with defined operator action criteria and, depending on the result of the check, the operator action determined via the sensor values is rejected or qualified as a valid operator action and, on determining a valid operator action, the drive assembly (4) is actuated by means of the control arrangement (3) for motorised adjustment of the flap arrangement (1). According to the invention, by means of the control arrangement (3) in an operator tracking routine, a time-dependent association of acquired sensor values with the operator (B) is made, from the time-dependency of the sensor values associated with the operator (B) an operator trajectory is determined for the position of the operator (B), and at least one operator action criterion is defined in that the operator trajectory complies with a trajectory stipulation.
