Summary: | An injection molding material for producing molded articles having poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate); cellulose, present between 12 and 17% in weight in relation to the total weight of the components; talc, present between 7 and 9% in weight in relation to the total weight of the components; and a polyadipate ester-based plasticizer, present between 3 and 6% in weight in relation to the total weight of the components. The material is compostable according to the European standard EN 13432 and it has barrier properties according to which the Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) is between 5 and 10 cm3/m2·day and the Water Vapour Transmission Rate (WVTR) is between 2 and 7 g/m2·day. |
