Embodiments of this application disclose a processing method for user access and a related apparatus. An active device configured to respond to a user access request is dynamically adjusted based on a user access failure rate corresponding to an access interface, so that the user access request can be responded to in time even when a third-party authentication server is faulty, thereby improving a user access success rate. The processing method includes: A first BRAS determines a user access failure rate corresponding to a first access interface; and adjusts a response threshold of the first access interface from a first value to a second value when the user access failure rate corresponding to the first access interface is greater than or equal to a first threshold, where a corresponding response speed of responding to a user access request based on the first value is faster than a corresponding response speed of responding to the user access request based on the second value.
