This application is applicable to the terminal field, and provides an antenna selection method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a readable storage medium. The method includes: sending an antenna switch channel sounding reference signal to a network device through each antenna; receiving an antenna selection message sent by the network device, where the antenna selection message indicates a first antenna in a plurality of antennas and a signal quality gain of each remaining antenna relative to the first antenna; obtaining a preset signal quality correction gain of the first antenna; and when the signal quality gain of each remaining antenna is greater than the signal quality correction gain of the first antenna, determining to use the first antenna to perform communication. Because the first antenna is an optimal antenna obtained by the network device through measurement, whether to use the optimal antenna obtained by the network device through measurement to perform communication is determined based on a signal quality correction gain of the optimal antenna and a signal quality gain of each remaining antenna relative to the optimal antenna, so that an antenna with good communication quality can be more accurately selected and used for communication.
