Summary:A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery (10) is provided with a bottomed tubular outer can (16) accommodating an electrode body (14), and a sealing body (17) for sealing an opening portion of the outer can (16). A crimped portion (31) for crimping and securing the sealing body (17) is formed in the outer can (16) by bending the edge portion of the opening portion inward in the radial direction, and the sealing body (17) includes a rupture disk (24), a cathode cap (27) including a flange (27a), and a metal height adjusting portion (40) for adjusting the height of the crimped portion (31).
