Summary: | The invention relates to a body composition, which is sintered at temperatures lower than those for the currently used tile body compositions to make it possible to obtain the tiles with properties same as or superior than the properties of the currently obtained tiles and thus reduces the energy consumption, and to a tile obtained with said composition. The composition according to the invention contains, in addition to clay, feldspar and quartz, a mix of sedimentary magnesite and bentonite as the agents that reduce the sintering temperature of the body composition by increasing the vitreous phase amount within the composition and that enable a material having ideal water absorption capacity, strength and color values to be obtained at these temperatures as well. |
