The present invention relates to a connecting element system (1) for producing a tube connection (11) between a connecting element (2) and a plastic tube, a plastic composite tube or a metal/plastic composite tube which comprises a connecting element (2) which is prefabricated with a ferrule (3) and which comprises at least one supporting body (6) which is provided with a plurality of peripheral outer ribs (5, 5a, 5b, 5c) for pushing onto a tube end (7); and a ferrule (3), wherein, according to the invention, the connecting element system (1) is characterized in that the connecting element system (1) comprises, furthermore, a holding element (4) which is in engagement with the connecting element (2) and the ferrule (3). Moreover, the present invention relates to a tube connection (11) between a tube end (7) of a plastic tube, a plastic composite tube or a metal/plastic composite tube and a connecting element (2) with a connecting element system (1) according to the invention, and to a method for producing a tube connection (11) according to the invention.
