Summary:An all-solid-state battery (100) comprises a power generation element (50) and a restraint member (70). The restraint member (70) applies a pressure of 0.5 MPa or less to the power generation element (50). The power generation element (50) includes a positive electrode layer (10), a solid electrolyte layer (30), and a negative electrode layer (20). The solid electrolyte layer (30) is interposed between the positive electrode layer (10) and the negative electrode layer (20). The positive electrode layer (10) includes a composite particle (5). The composite particle (5) includes a positive electrode active material particle (1) and a covering layer (2). The covering layer (2) covers at least part of a surface of the positive electrode active material particle (1). The covering layer (2) includes a sulfide solid electrolyte.
