Summary:[Problem] To provide a mechanism by which it is possible to improve operational safety regarding a power source of an inhalation device.[Solution] This inhalation device generates an aerosol, and comprises: a first resistor having a prescribed resistance; a measurement subject with variable resistance that is connected in series to the first resistor; an A/D converter that outputs an A/D conversion value of an applied voltage; and a measurement unit that measures the resistance of the measurement subject on the basis of the A/D conversion value outputted from the A/D converter. The A/D converter has applied thereto a reference voltage from a first power source, the reference voltage being a voltage that determines a full scale of the A/D conversion value, outputs an A/D conversion value of a first voltage applied from a second power source differing from the first power source, and outputs an A/D conversion value of a second voltage applied to the measurement subject from the second power source via the first resistor. The measurement unit calculates the resistance of the measurement subject on the basis of the ratio of the A/D conversion value of the first voltage and the A/D conversion value of the second voltage, and of the resistance of the first resistor
