Summary:The invention relates to a lead frame (1) for a light module, more particularly for the inner and/or interior illumination of a motor vehicle, comprising a plurality of connection portions (10), which are arranged one following the other in series and each of which is designed to be connected to a light source (2), wherein the lead frame (1) has at least two conducting tracks (20), which together have a first common total conductor cross-section A1GES, and at least a number N of data lines (30) separate therefrom, which together have a common total conductor cross-section A2GES different from the first total conductor cross-section A1GES, the ratio V of the total conductor cross-section A1GES of the conducting tracks (20) to the total conductor cross-section A2GES of the signal lines (30) being determined in accordance with a predefined formula.
