Summary:An object of the present disclosure is to provide a thickener that can be suitably used as a thickener for adhesives and can improve the odor when used in the application of a thickener for adhesives, especially when used in the cyanoacrylate-based adhesives. The thickener for cyanoacrylate-based adhesives contains a methacrylic resin containing 95 to 99.9% by mass of a methyl methacrylate monomer unit and 0.1% to 5% by mass of an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer unit having an alkyl group with a carbon number of 4 or more.
