Summary: | The present invention provides a method for the detection and/or diagnosis of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19), in an isolated biological sample, by means of reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP), comprising the amplification of specific regions of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, using a set of specially designed RT-LAMP primers, and wherein the detection of the amplification products is carried out by means of an optical and/or electrochemical method. The present invention also relates to the set of specially designed RT-LAMP primers, to a reading reagent and to a kit for specifically detecting the amplified sequences of the SARS-CoV-2 virus comprising the set of specially designed RT-LAMP primers according to the present invention. |
