Summary: | An artificial intelligence (AI) X-ray image information detection and correction system (100)is employed either as a component of the X-ray imaging system (10) or separately from the X-ray imaging system (10) to automatically scan post-exposure X-ray images (104) to detect various types of information or characteristics of the X-ray image (104), including, but not limited to, anatomy (402), view (404), orientation (406) and laterality of the X-ray image (408), along with an anatomical landmark segmentation (410). The information detected about the X-ray image (104) can then be stored by the AI system (102) in association with the X-ray image (104) for use in various downstream X-ray system workflow automations and/or reviews of the X-ray image (104). |
