Summary:The present disclosure relates to a method of polymerizing a polymer having an ester functional group, a catalyst for use in the method, and a composition for use in the method. More specifically, proposed is a method of depolymerizing a polymer having an ester functional group by using potassium carbonate (K2CO3) as a depolymerization catalyst and an alcohol and a polar aprotic solvent as solvents. In addition, a composition for depolymerizing a polymer having an ester functional group is proposed.
