Summary:A pump for dispensing a fluid, has a pump head, a piston with a piston body, a pump chamber provided by a pump chamber part, an inlet valve and an outlet valve. The piston body is moveable relative to the pump chamber. The piston body is tube-like, providing a channel for delivering the fluid from the pump chamber via the outlet valve to an outlet opening in the pump head. The outlet valve is a valve body cooperating with a sealing rim formed by an opening in an outlet channel of the pump head. The piston body has a sealing lip for with an inner surface of the pump chamber body. The pump head is moveable relative to the piston body providing an opening stroke for the outlet valve, wherein the valve body moves axially in the opposite direction into a part of the outlet channel above the valve body.
