Summary:The invention relates to an adjusting device for furniture, comprising an adjusting element (7), a threaded part (8), which is held in a sleeve (15) on the adjusting element (7), and a holder (6) which rests against the threaded part (8), said adjusting element (7) being adjustable relative to the holder (6) in the axial direction by rotating the threaded part (8). The sleeve (15) and/or the threaded part (8) is/are designed to be spring elastic in the radial direction, and the thread (13) of the threaded part (8) slips upon reaching an axial end position on the sleeve (15). Thus, the adjusting device has a protection against excessive rotation, said protection preventing the components from being damaged.
