The system of the invention is especially suitable for transporting HEK-293 and Caco-2 cell lines, since their survival remains substantially unaltered for at least 96 hours of storage and/or transport. The invention is also aimed at a method for the in vitro transport of cell lines, as well as a kit for transporting said cell lines.
