Summary:The invention relates to a side panel (1) for a drawer comprising a carrier rail (2), on which a horizontal support strip (7) for a base (16) and a vertical wall section (8) is formed, wherein at least one adapter (3, 4) is secured to the vertical wall section (8), on which a cover (5, 6) and/or a wall element can be fixed, wherein a guide tab (12, 13, 32) is arranged on the vertical wall section (8) next to the at least one adapter (3, 4), which covers at least one part of an edge of the adapter (3, 4). In this way, the assembly of the base (16) on the carrier rail (2) is simplified.
