Summary:A method for an assignment of at least one creator to a digital media file comprises at least one method step in which the digital media file is recorded by means of a recording device of a recording apparatus, in particular a front-facing camera of the recording apparatus, and is provided with metadata,wherein the metadata comprises at least one creator information,the creator information being generated automatically in the recording period of the digital media file,wherein the creator information is realized as a user identifier,and wherein in the method step at least the user identifier is determined and/or verified by a safety device,wherein the safety device comprises a camera of the recording apparatus, in particular a rear-facing camera of the recording apparatus, by means of which the determination and/or verification of the user identifier of the user making the recording is carried out by the recording device in the recording period of the digital media file.
