Summary:This application discloses a method for predicting channel state information and an apparatus. User equipment determines channel prediction information based on a reference signal sent by a network device, and sends the channel prediction information to the network device. The network device receives the channel prediction information used to predict channel information. According to solutions in this application, the user equipment sends the channel prediction information to the network device, and the network device can accurately predict the channel information in a timely manner based on the channel prediction information. This resolves an expiration problem of the channel information fed back by the user equipment, and is applicable to a scenario in which the user equipment moves.
