Summary:The invention relates to a marine craft having a hull (3) and comprising a system for detecting one or more marine mammals. The detection system comprises at least one sensor (2) for receiving acoustic signals and converting them into electric signals and an analysis system (1) configured to analyse the electric signals supplied by the at least one sensor. The at least one sensor (2) is coupled to the hull (3) on the inner side of the hull (3) to enable acoustic signals to be received through the hull (3). The invention also relates to a corresponding method.
