The invention relates to a forced ventilation system for an air chamber (3), which is peripherally closed by at least one panel (21), between a wall (1) and a piece of furniture (2) arranged in a room, comprising at least one fan (11), a heating element (12), a controller (13), at least one air guide channel (14), and at least one ventilation opening (22) which fluidically connects the air chamber (3) to the room. The controller (13) is connected to the at least one fan (11) and the heating element (12) for control purposes and is designed to control and regulate same, wherein the at least one fan (11), the heating element (12), and the at least one air guide channel (14) are arranged in the air chamber (3), and a respective air guide channel (14) fluidically connects a respective ventilation opening (22) to each fan (11). The at least one fan (11) divides the air chamber (3) into a first section (31) delimited by the air guide channel (14) and a second section (32) delimited by the wall (1) and the piece of furniture (2) and is designed to generate an airflow into or out of the second section (32) through the air guide channel (14) such that air from the fan (11) can be suctioned or blown out through the air guide channel (14) and through the ventilation opening (22).
