Summary:Disclosed are hollow polymer spheres prepared from one or more hydrophilic ethylenically unsaturated monomers containing acid functionality, one or more nonionic hydrophilic ethylenically unsaturated monomers, and one or more hydrophobic ethylenically unsaturated monomers. Disclosed is a process for preparing such hollow spheres. The hollow spheres exhibit controlled particle size, which can have larger particle sizes, narrow particle size distributions and high void volume percentages.
