Summary: | The present application relates to a battery module, including a plurality of cells sequentially disposed in a laminated mode and at least one buffer member. The buffer members are disposed between at least two of the plurality of cells, and the buffer members can elastically deform to provide an expansion space when the cells expand, and restore when the cells contract. At least one of the thickness, length and width of the buffer members is related to corresponding one of the thickness, length or width of the cells. When deforming within a strain range of 0% to 85%, the buffer members provide an acting force of 0 to 1 Mpa. When the battery module is not charged, the cells bear a certain pressure, so that the battery module is compact in overall structure and is in a compressed state. While during charging, the cells are allowed to have expansion to a certain extent. Therefore, the cycle life of the battery module is remarkably prolonged. |
