The invention relates to a gantry device for a vehicle treatment system (14). The gantry device (10) comprises two support apparatuses (22, 24), which are arranged at a distance from each other, and a crossmember apparatus (30), which connects the support apparatuses (22, 24) to each other. The support apparatuses (22, 24) can be installed, by means of respective installation regions (38), on an installation surface (12) for the gantry device (10) and are connected to the crossmember apparatus (30) at respective connection regions (42) opposite the installation regions (38). According to the invention, in order to provide a gantry device (10) of this type that can be easily assembled and can be transported in a space-saving manner, at least one support apparatus (22, 24) has a first portion (48) and a second portion (50), the first portion (48) being connected, at the connection region (42), to the crossmember apparatus (30) and the second portion (50) comprising the installation region (38), and has a joint apparatus (56), which connects the first portion (48) to the second portion (50) and is arranged between the installation region (38) and the connection region (42), it being possible to pivot the second portion (50), relative to the first portion (48), away from the other support apparatus (22, 24) about a pivot axis (58, 68).
