Summary: | The present invention relates to polypeptides having UDP-Glycosyltransferase activity derived from tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) and having the amino acid sequence set out in any of SEQ ID NO: 1 to 4 or an amino acid sequence having at least about 30% sequence identity thereto. The application also relates to recombinant hosts comprising a recombinant nucleic acid sequence encoding said polypeptides and uses thereof to prepare glycosylated diterpenes, like steviol glycoside. The host cells might comprise further enzymes of the steviol glycoside biosynthesis pathway. |
