Summary:An electronic device is provided. The disclosed electronic device may comprise at least one display, at least one processor, and at least one memory. The at least one memory may store instructions configured to cause, when executed, the at least one processor to: acquire an input for selecting multiple applications that are to be executed and displayed if the at least one display is unfolded, through a first display area of the at least one display, which is activated while the at least one display remains folded; sense unfolding of the at least one display; divide a second display area of the at least one display, which is activated while the at least one display remains unfolded, so as to correspond to the number of the multiple applications, on the basis of sensing the unfolding; and execute the multiple applications so as to be displayed in the divided second display area. Various other embodiments are also possible.
