Summary: | Various embodiments are generally directed to ensuring an electrical fault indicator, such as a light-emitting diode (LED), remains active in the event of an electrical fault in a circuit, even if a load fault, such as an excessive load, a load short circuit, or a load open circuit occurs. Various circuit configurations are provided to achieve this effect, including but not limited to a circuit that includes: a fuse connected between two circuit points, one or more conduction paths sharing a common node with the fuse, a first circuit element sharing the common node with the fuse, and an electrical fault indicator, sharing either i) the common node with the fuse and the first circuit element or ii) another common node with the first circuit element that is distinct from the common node between the fuse and the first circuit element. |
