Summary:To particularly simplify the manufacturing of a vacuum pump.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a vacuum pump, the vacuum pump has at least one ring-shaped stator disc, the stator disc is set so as to generate a pump action in conjunction with a rotor of the pump, in particular, at least one rotor disc, and the stator disc has at least two different partial rings. In a first process portion, at least two stator disc partial rings, that is, as in the followings, the partial ring comprises at least one pump activation structure behind the first process portion, and joined to one member. A connection part between the partial rings comprises a material thickness which is locally thinned, and as a result, the connection part is manufactured so as to constitute a scheduled separation point. Also, the partial rings are separated from each other in the scheduled separation point at a second process portion which is different from the first process portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
