Summary:A mobile system and method of calibrating an ADAS sensor (30) of a vehicle (22) by aligning a target (26) with the sensor (30), where a transport vehicle (21) is equipped with a target adjustment stand (24) for transporting to the vehicle (22), which includes a movable target mount (124) configured to support a target (26), with the target adjustment stand (24) including one or more actuators (31, 104, 112, 120, 126) for adjusting the position of the target mount (124). A computer system (42, 170) is used to determine an orientation of the vehicle (22) relative to the target adjustment stand (24), with the position of the target mount (124) being adjusted based on the determined orientation of the vehicle (22) relative to the target adjustment stand (24). Upon properly orienting the target (26), a calibration routine is performed whereby sensor (30) is calibrated using target (26).
