Summary:A cell 1 according to the present disclosure includes: a solid electrolyte layer 4 including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a fuel electrode 3 on the first surface; an air electrode 5 on the second surface; and a middle layer 21 between the second surface and the air electrode 5. The middle layer 21 is a CeO2-type sintered body containing Si, the content of Si equivalent to or less than 150 ppm in terms of SiO2. A cell stack device 10 includes a cell stack 18 in which the plurality of cells 1 is aligned. A module 20 includes: a storage container 14; and the cell stack device 10 that is housed in the storage container 14. A module housing device 40 includes: an external case; the module 20 and an auxiliary equipment that drives the module 20, which are housed in the external case.
