Summary:A rotary compressor includes: a rotational shaft; a bearing plate supporting the rotational shaft; a cylinder coupled to the bearing plate and provided with an inlet port and a vane slot formed along a circumferential direction to be spaced apart by a predetermined distance; a roller coupled to the rotational shaft, provided inside the cylinder to form a compression space together with the bearing plate and the cylinder, and provided with a hinge groove formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof; and a vane having one end slidingly coupled to the vane slot of the cylinder and another end rotatably coupled to the hinge groove of the roller. At least one suction guide portion is provided at the outer circumferential surface of the roller in a recessed manner.
