Summary:This document discloses a sensor device comprising: a first textile layer of electrically conductive and porous textile material, forming a first electrode of the sensor device; a second textile layer of electrically conductive and porous textile material, forming a second electrode of the sensor device; at least one dielectric layer of deformable material and disposed between the first textile layer and second textile layer, wherein the at least one dielectric layer penetrates at least partially the porous textile material the first textile layer and the second textile layer, thus integrating into the first textile layer and the second textile layer; and means for measuring at least one of capacitance between the first textile layer and the second textile layer and resistance of at least one of the first textile layer and the second textile layer.
