Summary:Hydraulic shock absorber comprising a cylindrical body (6), a shock absorber piston (4) which is attached to the end of a rod (2) and slides axially in said body (6), and an end-of-travel hydraulic braking stop (10) arranged between the shock absorber piston (4) and a housing base (8), the end-of-travel stop (10) comprising a stop piston (16) which defines a chamber (20) for adjustment between said end-of-travel stop (10) and the housing base (8) and is provided with a valve (24) leaving a free passage for filling said adjustment chamber (20), and a restriction channel (22) for emptying said chamber, comprising a device with maximum axial spacing (26) between the end-of-travel stop (10) and the shock absorber piston (4), and comprising a spacing spring (30) which aims to increase said spacing.
