Summary:A spinning machine (1) comprises a plurality of spindles (6 1-6 n; 8 1-8 n), longitudinally aligned, and a driving device for said spindles comprising an electric motor (181-18 n; 201-20n), a belt (14) engaged with the electric motor and tangentially pulling the spindles to rotate them, infeed diversion means (32) to divert the belt from the spindles towards the motor and outfeed diversion means (34) to divert the belt from the motor towards the spindles. The main infeed direction ( Wi) and the infeed direction (Y) form an infeed angle (A) and the main outfeed direction ( Wu) and the outfeed direction (Z) form an outfeed angle (B). The infeed angle (A) is greater than the outfeed angle (B) to limit the action of the tension of the belt on the infeed diversion means (32).
