Summary:A pad spring (23), provided with a pair of first pressing parts (39a, 39b) and a pair of second pressing parts (42a, 42b), is attached to a disc brake device (1a). The pair of first pressing parts (39a, 39b) elastically press peripheral-direction one-side parts of the outer peripheral edges of respective back plates (15a) constituting an inner pad (3a) and an outer pad (4a), the one-side parts being pressed diametrally inward. The pair of second pressing parts (42a, 42b) elastically press peripheral-direction one-side surfaces of the respective back plates (15a) constituting the inner pad (3a) and the outer pad (4a), the one-side surfaces being pressed toward the other peripheral side.
