FILM FOR COATING METAL PLATE AND RESIN-COATED METAL PLATE

A film for coating a metal sheet according to the invention satisfies that a ratio (EMD/ETD) of a Young's modulus EMD in a lengthwise direction to a Young's modulus ETD in a width direction is within a range between 1.1 and 4.0 inclusive, and a thermal shrinkage rate in both lengthwise and...

Summary:A film for coating a metal sheet according to the invention satisfies that a ratio (EMD/ETD) of a Young's modulus EMD in a lengthwise direction to a Young's modulus ETD in a width direction is within a range between 1.1 and 4.0 inclusive, and a thermal shrinkage rate in both lengthwise and width directions at 200°C is equal to or smaller than 20%, the thermal shrinkage rate being measured by a thermo-mechanical analyzer. A sum (EMD + ETD) of the Young's modulus EMD in the lengthwise direction and the Young's modulus ETD in the width direction is preferably within a range between 3000 MPa and 12000 MPa inclusive. A melting peak temperature Tm1 present on a lowest temperature side is preferably within a range between 210°C and 280°C inclusive.
